How To Play

To play Ultimate Frisbee, you need...

1. A Frisbee

2. Around 10 guys. (or girls)

3. An Open Field.

You don't have to have 14 guys, it can be less or more, but usually games are 7on7.

You also don't have to have an open field, it can be a basketball gym or anywhere really, it just has to have a big open space. Beachs are used for ultimate frisbee too.

My favorite place to play is in a room with a lot of pads around the walls, and you use a floppy frisbee. Look at the Frisbee Info page to see what a floppy fribsee is. Usually the wrestling room at a high school is good. You have to get permission to play there first.

The Goal of Ultimate Frisbee is to make your team WIN of course, just like any other game. How to win is the hard part though.

Look at the Rules page for the rules of Ultimate Frisbee. The main idea is that one team "kicks off" to the other team by throwing the frisbee downfield. That team then passes it until they either score or lose possession. How you lose possession is in the rules. You keep playing until one team scores, calls a time out, an injury happens, a foul, or a violation. These are explained in the Rules page.
